Supplier Code of Conduct

The standards we expect of every vendor, contractor, and service provider engaged by Hadri Law.

Hadri Law Professional Corporation works with a small but trusted network of suppliers — including technology providers, professional service partners, and office vendors. This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards we expect of every supplier engaged by the firm, in support of our commitments to integrity, human rights, and responsible business practices in Ontario and across Canada.

Compliance with Law

Suppliers must comply with all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal laws, as well as the laws of any other jurisdiction where they operate. This includes anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws (including the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act), Canadian sanctions and export controls, competition law, and tax law. Suppliers must not offer, give, request, or accept any bribe, kickback, or improper inducement in connection with their work for the firm.

Human Rights & Labour Standards

Suppliers must respect internationally recognized human rights and treat their workers with dignity. We require compliance with all applicable employment, occupational health and safety, and human rights legislation, including the Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, 2000, and Occupational Health and Safety Act. Workers must receive at least the legally mandated wages, benefits, and rest periods, and must be free to associate or refrain from associating in accordance with applicable law.

Prohibition of Forced and Child Labour

Hadri Law has zero tolerance for forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, or any other form of modern slavery in our supply chains, consistent with Canada's Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act. Suppliers must not use, contract for, or otherwise benefit from any form of compelled, indentured, prison, or under-age labour, and must take reasonable steps to ensure the same of their own subcontractors.

Equity, Diversity & Non-Discrimination

Suppliers must provide a workplace free from harassment and discrimination on the basis of any ground protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code or the Canadian Human Rights Act, including race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, family status, or disability. We expect suppliers to support equitable hiring and advancement practices.

Confidentiality, Privacy & Information Security

Suppliers who handle Hadri Law information, client information, or personal information must comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any other applicable privacy legislation. Suppliers must implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards, must use information only for the purposes for which it was provided, and must promptly notify the firm of any actual or suspected security incident affecting our data.

Conflicts of Interest

Suppliers must disclose, in writing, any actual or potential conflict of interest that could compromise their objectivity or the firm's interests, including any personal, financial, or business relationships with members of the firm or its clients.

Environment

Suppliers are expected to comply with applicable environmental laws and to take reasonable steps to minimize the environmental impact of their operations, including the responsible use of paper, energy, and other resources.

Reporting Concerns

Suppliers, their personnel, and any third party with knowledge of a suspected breach of this Code may raise concerns in good faith by contacting the firm at contact@hadrilaw.com. We will treat reports confidentially to the extent permitted by law and will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

Enforcement

Compliance with this Code is a condition of doing business with Hadri Law. Failure to comply may result in corrective action, suspension, or termination of the supplier relationship. We may update this Code from time to time and will post any revisions on this page.
