Our commitment to equity, inclusion, and the communities we serve in Toronto and across Canada.
Hadri Law was founded on the conviction that great legal advice should be accessible to clients of every background, language, and stage of growth. This page describes how we live that conviction inside the firm and in the communities where we work.
Our office sits on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
Our practice is built around lawyers and staff who, between them, advise clients in English, French, Spanish, and Catalan. We hire intentionally for cultural and linguistic diversity, because our clients — Canadian founders, newcomers, and international companies entering the Ontario market — deserve counsel who understands more than the law.
We recruit and promote on the basis of merit, in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, including women, racialized persons, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Accommodations are available throughout our recruitment process — applicants are invited to let us know if any are needed.
We serve a client base that mirrors the Greater Toronto Area: family businesses, immigrant entrepreneurs, women-led ventures, and international companies establishing a Canadian presence. We are proud to provide legal services in our clients' first language whenever we can, and to refer to trusted colleagues when we cannot.
Members of the firm participate in pro bono initiatives and community legal education, with a particular focus on supporting newcomer entrepreneurs and small businesses navigating their first significant legal matter. We support organizations and bar association programs that expand access to business legal advice.
We are committed to a website, office, and client experience that meet or exceed the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). For details, please see our Accessibility Statement.
We welcome feedback on how we can better serve and reflect the communities around us. Please reach us at contact@hadrilaw.com.
